Training before a new task, safe instructions for each task, and what to do if you are asked to do something you have not been trained for.

For Margaret

A practical lesson on training and safe ways of working at Trax Park DC2. At GXO, these written safe instructions are called Safe Systems of Work, or SOWs. Emphasises that new starters must receive training before starting a new task, read and follow the SOW, and ask for help before starting unfamiliar work. Covers training before tasks, what a SOW includes, moving between areas like Tripp and Parts and Accessories, stopping to tell a manager if you are unsure, and learning through supervised practice. One clear idea per card, literal wording, reading age 7 to 11. Builds on Lesson 16 without repeating hazard zones.
